Repeat: Throw error when Font is not available

I just ran into an issue that others have complained about as well. When opening a CC file that contains a Font that is not installed on your computer no errors are generated and a different Font is used. It took we a while to chase this down when jumping between my main design computer and another that I run the machine with. In my case it was stacked text where the upper text was still text and the lower was converted to curves. Things didn’t quite line up on one PC and was perfect on the other. After installing the missing font on the second PC everything worked fine.

Here’s a thread that states the same issue from earlier.

Most of the jobs I make up have Notes “P” where I put in fonts or cheats I have setup for this cut. Like, use 60 vee when the job I have set up calls for a 90. (gives me the look I am after)

I know it is a distraction to have to check each time, but what I do.

That thread says that @WillAdams put in a request for a warning message. Maybe we should just ask for a status on that request…

It’s only been 3 days. I’m still waiting on the “Run From Here” feature request to be implemented in Carbide Motion.
