I don’t know if it’s to early to replace them but I’d rather do it now then later. Does anyone know exactly what kind I need or where to get them other then the obvious carbide store? Would like to also have some extra just in case.
Z axis springs? I don’t know that I’ve ever heard anyone report of them breaking/wearing out. I have seen where folks have sourced different (lighter/heavier) springs to help with heavier spindles or deep plunges. Those are usually found at a hardware store by comparing what you have versus what you need. Sorry I’m not much of a help, but someone else will likely answer with more specifics.
