Retract height and plunge rates

I have many v carves to do and the novelty is wearing off for the time to do them,I zero from the top what do you set your retract heights too and plunge rates too?I have the retract at 5 mm but even 3 mm will make a big difference.

In CC Setup you can set your retract height.

The plunge rate is set by editing a tool in the tool path.

For 60-degree V-bit carves, try bumping the plunge rate up to 60, 80, then 100 on a test piece to see how the carve works for you. The time savings will be great.

I have a SO 5 pro, and for Advanced V carves with a 60, I use 60 x 100 plunge and Feed.

Thanks everyone I pulled the retract height down and doubled the plunge rate on the last 2 carvings, what a huge difference in time that made, thanks all for your help.
