Just purchased the Rii X8 and had trouble controlling the z axis. FYI- The scroll wheel does not control the z axis. You have to use the “-” or the “+” (which is Shift “=”). I hope this saves some folks the frustrations.

I really like the Rii keypads and use them on 4 Shapeoko machines. But I buy the standard ones with the direction pad on top and it uses the PgUp/PgDn keys for Z jogging. I was curious about that one, so thanks for the info.
