Rough patches on curved cuts

Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone had any tips. I’ve been cutting wooden names, and almost all the time, in the same curved spots it creates a super rough patch. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It may help to leave a roughing clearance and to take a full depth finishing pass — where possible avoid slotting and add geometry and cut as a pocket
