Routing a snack board

as requested on support…

rout a “Snack board” in 3-d profile, board thickness is 1.5".

  1. Try to routes the 3 oval shape on board with 3-d shape. Bottom of each were the small oval shape. Deep of deepest part will be around 1.25".

  2. Try to routes the 3 small plates holder in 3-d profile. Deep = 0.35"

Model to the Stock Thickness:

Apply | Done

Then select the elements to be subtracted:

Note that you will need suitably long tooling to actually cut this out.

thanks for the step-by-step programing.
however, i want to see the 3 large areas are actual “bowl” without the center parts stick up. the bottom at lowest point per the smaller circle on each.
it is also applied to 3 of the smaller “leaf” shape of holder the plates. the bottom of the 3 small cut-down will be flat on the smaller circle on each.
hope it is not too hard.
