Good morning , Since i got my xxl about 2 years i been running version 474 i went to upgrade about 8 months ago to the latest version and had some issues so i went back the 474. So the question i have is will my saved files the svg’s get messed up went running them in the latest version ? I thought i read someplace the new versions open and save files to a new file extension.
If you export to an SVG, the you should be able to open the file in the older version.
If you save as a .c2d, then open in an older version, things may not be exactly right — in particular, toolpaths may need to be reworked/adjusted — usually it’s pretty obvious.
