Getting a homing fail error. Tested all three limit switches and the LEDs turn on and off as they should. When in Carbide Motion the X and Y limit switches go on and off in the DEBUG screen, but the Z stays “active” when the metal is removed from the limit switch. What gives ?? S5P is down until I can figure this out. Please Help
Power down and try replacing the Z-axis switch with the included spare?
Just went thru the same issue. had to get tech support on video call my Y axis was too tight from factory. the ball screw nut was too tight.
That’s pretty interesting, is yours brand new ?? I’ve been running mine for a few months, and this is the first time it’s acted up. Guess I should count myself lucky
Will try that this evening, it’s interesting that the LED will go one and off at the switch, but just latches on in the software
Replaced the Z axis limit switch, it ran one quick test job, and then I started getting the error again, AND when I test the Z limit switch, it latches in the software while the LED goes on and off … frustrated
