Is there any way, or even any thought, to “scale” a 3d model in CCPro. To my knowledge it can’t be done currently, but would be nice if possible in the future.
Why? When laying out a plan of some size, large, it would be nice/great to be able to model it either full scale and size down or small and size up, after cutting a replica of the design. Would also be handy for using the same 3d file to provide various sizes of a given design.
Probably WAY out of capability, but could be pretty handy.
Able to export to png
Resized design settings to larger
Imported into Model tab increasing the size as desired
Simulation in Model mode show fine
Toolpath…can’t select any of the elements…either trying to select ALL or any one???
Also tried to save as c2d and reload, no change.
How do you get to select a toolpath after importing the png?
Neither in the DESIGN mode, MODEL mode nor the TOOLPATH mode can any items of the design be selected.
Do you have to totally redraw the design? That defeats the usage doesn’t it?
Certainly it imports to the new size based on the design mode and that’s great.
But you can’t do anything with it after that. Can’t select any element of the design to create any toolpath.
Appreciate the ideas. Will just have to redraw from scratch each time I want a different scale.
Thanks. Do appreciate the feedback. Still learning.
