Can anyone tell me where this came from? I just notice this screw on one of my projects.
Thanks for the help
You ned to provide more details.
What kind of machine? Which Z axis? Which spindle?
Look on your sweepy. That’s what it looks like to me.
Yeah I agree with @cheu definitely looks like one of the sweepy clamp screws
I think it came off of the spendle VFD Shapeoko Pro XXL
It looks like a button head, not a socket head screw.
So I look and all the screws are on the top. So I don’t know, here’s a picture.Did it come underneath?I looked underneath the v f d spendle, but didn’t see anything listen
The original picture showed a washer of some type. Metal ? Lock washer ?
The threads on the initial .200 look fairly used, like it had been re-installed a few times.
I don’t think it comes from the C3D setup.
If you haven’t already checked, there are screws that go in from under the spindle that look similar to those.
I agree with @Ed.E , that looks like a screw from a cable plug backshell

(Shameless screenshot snip from his photo…)
As far as I can remember, C3D uses exclusively hex-drive screws on all the parts they design.
