Scroll Saw and CNC Patterns

I am currently working on a scroll saw presentation for my woodworking club. I cut out a pattern of a dog and the pattern would work quite well for a cnc project. I get Scroll Saw and Woodworking Magazine and it is full of full size pattern which many would work well on a CNC. Here is my dog book ends. As you can see a great cnc project.

The dog is not yet glued to the book end but you can see the potential of the scroll patterns in your CNC work. Complicated fretwork could be done but some things are just better to be done how they were intended.

Even my dog approves of the book end.

It is tail wagging fun. It is quite cold for us here around 32 degrees. Now I know for a lot of folks that isnt anything extraordinary but in East Texas it is coooooold. Tonight it is expected to get 17 degrees so brrrrrrrrrrrrr. Stay warm and safe.

Steve Good’s website is still active but here does not seem to be very active lately. I watched a presentation he gave (on youtube) at a woodworking club in Georgia 6 years ago. He is quite a good instructor and lecturer but he had retired at the time from his Xerox job so not sure how old he is but I enjoy his website but he is not making much youtube content anymore.
