I made 2 Wedgie Sleds for my fellow Woodworking Club members. I had designed the Wedgie Sled some time ago and have made several for fellow wood turners. I will include the v7 .c2d file. If you use my files please open them and edit the setup. The sled is 16" x 16.5" .75" MDF and the wedgies are on 1/4" 24" x 13". The Wedgie sled was first developed by Jerry Bennett. See Jerry’s youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd8Qkm6R7002yQSKu-o1Vog/videos
Here are my versions of his original idea. I made mine slightly bigger than his originals to accomodate making larger segments. I often make frames for stained glass that are round.
The sled is two files. The bottom and the top. The bottom file is designed for 1/4" 20 carriage bolts. You will need 4 1/4-20 through knobs. The bottom is designed for an Incra miter bar. This is a link to Lee Valley but the 17.75" Incra Aluminum miter bar is what it was designed for.
If you use a different miter bar then you will need to modify the file to suit your setup. The fences can be cut on the CNC but they are 2" wide and about 18" long. The 1/4" holes are 1.5" from the short edge and the second hole is 8.5" from the same front edge.
You will also need to make a stop to set your segment the proper lengths. (Not Included)

The wedges only include 12, 16, 20 and 24 segments per ring. There are other segmented sizes but they are easy to design and cut.
Here is completed wedgie sled, wedgies and stop block for setting segment length.
