Made 2 clocks for my dad this weekend. Had to individually select each text object and change the font/size. There seems to be no way of selecting multiple text objects and changing their properties all at once.

Short answer No. It is a pain to select multiple times and change but that is the way it works now. The other pain about text for me is there is only one line of text at a time and you cannot produce two lines of text at once only one line at a time.
