I want to set up my Nomad 3 in Fusion 360 as a post processor. I saw another thread that I should choose Carbide 3D (grill) but I was unclear if this is meant specifically for the Nomad 3 or if it’s just for the Shapeko. If this is indeed what I choose from the list in Fusion360, is there anything else specific I need to set in there or will it work as is? Advice appreciated! Thanks,
Kate
You want a post-processor which:
- supports tool changes via the BitSetter
- supports auto on/off and speed control of the spindle
See:
The Carbide 3D post processor in fusion works for both Shapeoko and Nomad. That’s the one you should use.
