Setting x and y via keyboard?

I’ve got this joined shape that i need the bottom to be exactly on the 3" mark. Is there a way to do this, without having to put some other object at 3" and then do an align? I just need a dialog that lets me manually set the x left, x right, y top or y bottom value. Anything?

You can do this easily with the move tool.

Select the anchor point and set the desired X Y position

A 3" tall rectangle shown for clarity but not used for alignment.
