Shapeoko 2 Post Processing

I’m trying to get our Shapeoko 2 up and running and I’m processing the GCODE out of Fusion 360. I’m getting error messages/pauses when sending the file and it doesn’t seem like the feed rate is being conveyed correctly.

What file type should I be saving the file as? Should I update the firmware on ours as well? I doubt its been updated in 2-3 years minimum but there’s a good chance it’s never been updated.

You should be able to use the same sort of post-processor setup that is used for a Shapeoko 3 and Carbide Motion:

The community has some notes on this as well as other post-processors at: https://wiki.shapeoko.com/index.php/Commercial_Software#3D_CAD

I am almost 100% that I tried the Carbide 3D (GRBL)/ carbide 3d but I will try it again tomorrow.

It may be that you’ll need to update to Grbl 1.1 — check in w/ @chamnit on that?
