Shapeoko 3 Error - Not communicating

Hi all,

After updating from Carbide motion 356 to 364, Shapeoko is losing communication or not connecting at all. If it communicates with the port, I start a job but then it stops in the middle or at some point anw. I tried restoring Carbide motion back to the previous version but the problem persisted even after the restore. I dont know what else to do.

When shapeoko 3 loses communication, CM pop ups with several msgs “GRBL Cannot Open Port”, “Not communicating”, “GRBL Error: Serial Port: Device Not Found Error” etc.

Can someone help me with this issue? Is there any way to fix it? At the moment I can’t do anything with Shapeoko because of these errors. Previously the machine was working fine.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
