Shapeoko 3 XXL (new to me) - Bottoming Out, Initialization

My Shapeoko 3 XXL - new to me as of two months ago - got its first fireup tonight after fixing the spoil board, and loading software for Carbine Motion.

Software game me the Alarm 9 error and HM009: The machine could not find the homing switches ← reference.

I’m running board CarbideMotion v.2.4e which seems newer.

Any suggestions based on what you see in the video and the error I’m getting?

Did you send the configuration for a Belt-dive Z-axis?

You have a Z-Plus — try sending that configuration?

1oo% accurate. TY!

I had a jam in the back right corner as you face the machine, in the y-axis movement, but the original owner told me is the sensor. I saw the “L-wrench” trick of touching it to make the light go on … and the back rail stop sensor (?) does not do that (unlike the Z-axis behind the router).

I ordered a pair as soon as I got home from buying the machine and should do the rest. I had a 0-0-0 return to home after running the setup with the Z+ … thank you!!!

There we go in my excitement of simple jogging X-Y-Z and initialization mode. I had to change the limit switch on the Y-axis and I think we’re ready.
