I just installed my VFD/Spindle on my 3XXL and had some problems. Thought I would let you all know just in case someone else has a similar problem. The installation went super smooth and easy. The problem I encountered was when I typed in M3S10000 the control box just made clicking noises and the spindle wouldn’t turn on. I tried a few different speeds and if I typed in M3S5000 to M3S7000 the spindle would come on but the controller read 7998. Anything above or below those speeds didn’t work. I upgraded all software to the latest versions but no help. After reading lots of posts I read where someone mentioned the 6 pin cable that plugs into the CNC control box. I typed in M3S10000 and then wiggled the connector and it sprang to life. Come to find out I think my connector has a loose pin on the circuit board. I tried putting a wire tie to other wires running near it to hold the connector in one place and that seems to be working just fine.
You might want to get with support on that. I had a loose connection on that same 6 pin and it eventually failed causing the spindle to stop spinning. That ended up breaking a bit and ruining the work piece.
