Shapeoko 3xxx cutting too deep when cutting out drop tray

On my Shapeoko 3xxx when it gets to the outside cut on the drop tray, my first project, it’s cutting deeper on the last passes. Is my material thickness settings not correct.

Any suggestions appreciated

Sorry it’s the drop Tray beginning project from Carbide3d training video.

When the project gets to the outer cutout step, it is cutting fine with each pass, but goes deeper than it should, cutting into my waste board before cutting the tabs

Which Z-axis do you have?

Which have you configured for?

If you set the origin at the surface and jog up 1 inch, how much does the machine move?

What toolpath are you cutting? Could the Z-axis be pulled into the cut?

Are you tightening the tool so that it won’t pull out?

Is the zero being set relative to the stock to match how the origin is set in the file?

Photos showing the part still in place on the machine?
