Shapeoko 4 Pro (48x48) Spoilboard Templates?

I was wondering if the information is somewhere, or if there are spoilboard g-code files out there for cutting the holes to attach the spoilboard? Or does anyone know what the dimensions are offhand?

I appreciate it in advance!!

There’s a drawing available here:

The original to this file is posted elsewhere on the forum, but I took the measurements and adapted to my needs. I also created custom tabs instead of using the CC tabs just because I wanted them exactly halfway so I could place my side clamps there. This file will cut out 14 slats vs the needed 12 for the machine so you’ll have 2 extra for replacement as necessary down the line.

The problem here is that most MDF sheets comes in 49" x 98" (not 48x96) so you get a 49" x 49" when you cut the sheet in half. This is obviously not ideal for cutting on a 48" x 48" area so you’ll have to cut these up and do some “post-processing” on them with some flush trim bits. You’ll see an overhang on the slats on the design file to account for this. Simply line up your sheet 1/2" off the cutting area.

You need to REMOVE THE BITSETTER before cutting the slots as it will get in the way. And for this file you’ll have to put it back on to measure the final bit - but you could remove that step if you cut with a single bit for the slots.
