Shapeoko 4 XL Stuttering in Y axis

Hi all,

I have a Shapeoko 4 xl that I got a few months back. Its been working fine until yesterday when movement in the Y axis started stuttering.
The problem seems to come partly from the board and partly from a connection wire.
The YL lead connected into Y1 on the board works fine. (with YR lead disconnected).
However with the YR lead connected to either Y1 or Y2, (YL not connected) it stutters.
Also when i connect the YL lead to Y2 (YR not connected) it stutters.
It seems like the Y2 board connection and the YR lead are both suddenly faulty. Anyone else have this problem or know of a possible solution.

If the problem follows the connection it probably means that the controller needs to be replaced.

If it’s specific to the motor/wiring, then replace those.
