Shapeoko 4XXL Z-Axis issues and now throwing errors

I am continuing to have issues with my Shapeoko 4 XXL. It has been cold (very cold in TN) here and when I was beginning a project, the system would not initialize properly with the bitsetter. I have the bit zero installed and made sure that there was nothing in the way, but when the system would begin, it seemed like a circuit was locked. With that said, I removed the bitzero, checked all connection wires for burn marks, and set the wires back up.

Now when I initialize the machine, it throws three (3) errors:

  1. mobile controller restarted unexpentedly an may be in an undefined state
  2. GRBL Error: homing failed, couldn’t find limiting switch
  3. Homing cycle failed

I honestly do not know what else to do here. And the Z motor is now making a terrible racking sound as it tries to initialize. Please advise.

Thanks,
TJ
