Recently, my machine is jamming up on the last 3/4 to inch of run on the Y axis. This occurs when homing the machine. Homing switches appear to be working properly. Began out of nowhere (no changes to the machine). Any suggestions?
Have you ensured that your machine is squared up nicely? Also that all the mechanicals for the ball screws are aligned/tightened up properly?
Are the machine movement limits uploaded to the controller board correct? Are they correct in Carbide Motion?
If you’ve confirmed that the mechanics/software are not causing the issue, then next would be wiring. Are any of the motor connectors being strained during movement? Are they all secured?

So I untighted and the retighted the ball screw on the Y. Appears to have worked. Possibly some issue there. I will keep posted.
