Well, I heard back from support. They avoided my question about electrical compatibility, and told me to return it. I don’t want to be the guinea pig to find out if the 5pro uses the same unit as the older cncs, so maybe somebody with an old bitzero and some time can figure that out. The picture is still wrong on carbide’s website, but I will ask robotshop to update their description when I send it back. I will likely wait for robotshop to get the new version in stock before ordering one, unless the CAD$ suddenly becomes valued. 
Waiting on support now. Loved the BitZero the few times I was able to use it.
Edit: Support responded within 24 hours and made things right. Fantastic company.
I just unboxed my bitzero v2 after assembling the 5 pro, and right out of the box the white wire is broken. Not impressed, but contacted support and am waiting for a response.
