Shapeoko 5 Pro won't turn on / not recognized

I just finished assembly of my new Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x2. I installed Carbide Motion on my laptop, hookup up my USB cable to the controller and…nothing. The gantry light is not lit; the C logo on the front right is not lit. The emergency stop (power pendent) is up and its button is lit. The power LED on the controller is lit, and the VFD display is lit (though flashing). I have checked and double checked all the wiring connections. There’s not much chance or error there - there is only one male connector for each type of female connector. There are no wiring ‘loose ends’, that is, all the connectors are connected.

I am at a loss as to what to check. I left a call-back request with Carbide 3D support, but haven’t heard back yet, so I thought I’d see if anyone has had a similar issue. I was all excited to get it up and running, but this is a bit of a brick wall. Frustrating.

Any pointers to help me troubleshoot?

Seems like maybe something is not connecting properly. I don’t have a 5Pro myself, but I do recall when I assembled my SPROXXL that I noticed a bit of an issue with my front On/Off push button not working at first. Found the wiring inside the Y-rail extrusion was getting pinched/crushed.
Maybe that’s something to check for?

The emergency button is up (not engaged). I’ve traced out the wires and the connectors all look to be connected to their correct mates.

To me it appears that the machine just isn’t getting power. The only thing that seems to be getting power is the power pendent. Not lights anywhere else. Strange.

Try cycling the emergency button a few times … maybe the contact is stuck.
