I’m thinking on switching my system over to 220v being I’ve installing a 220v spindle. I checked the brick that came with the machine/cnc and it’s a universal supply. Any reason not to do this?
Reason is I want to put in a single magnetic paddle switch to turn everything off in case of emergency or if power drops
I had some issues with disconnects when I ran both spindle and machine off the same circuit. I’m not saying this will be an issue in your case but it’s something to consider if you are going to upgrade your electrical system anyway.
