Shapeoko Pro HDM first time, unable to home and operate

This is my first time operating my newly assembled machine, I believe all wires are connected properly, and limit switches detect metal.
My procedure in Carbide Motion are as follows:
1.Connect to cutter< Settings< Machine< Load Defaults<Shapeoko Pro XXL< HDZ Ballscrew< Send Config Data< Pro HDZ< Options< CCRouter<No bitzero< Use current location<OK< Initialize
When I initialize, machine moves -X and -Z then gives errors.
The following codes appear when attempting to initialize: 1.“Machine controller restarted unexpectedly and may be in an undefined state.”
2.“GRBL Error: Homing Failed, pull off didn’t clear”
3. “Homing Cycle Failed”
4. “Limit Switch Error ( X Z )”
Could someone help me so I can get this thing running. Thank you for your time!

When I assembled my Pro, the instructions did not tell me where to install 1 of the homing switches. I’m wondering if one of your switches is in the wrong place.

Thanks Mate! Appreciate the help

The switches can work with a wrench but may not trigger. If that is the case you need to move the switches closer to the trigger point .
