Hi, quick question about linear rails on the gantry. I’ve had my Shapeoko Pro a little under a year and I haven’t been able to use it barely until here just recently. While checking over everything I noticed the linear rails on the gantry are a tad loose. Should these linear rails be a little loose? I can tap on the linear rails on the gantry and they move a little in/out on the Allen screws holding the rails. The linear rails on the (Y) axis I believe are not loose and nice and tight. If these linear rails aren’t supposed to be loose is it as simple as just tightening them? Maybe these are supposed to be a little loose. And please excuse me I’m still new and fresh to the CNC world.
Yes, retighten them. I make on my calendar 3 weeks(yes I am that old). I go through and check every bolt, screw, belt. and lube what needs to be lubed.

As a part of the machine operating checklist:
you should check all hardware and address anything which is loose or not as it ought to be.
