I have a shapeoko pro. When I am trying to setup for a cut and using the jog option non of the positive motions are working. If I do initialize it works correctly or if I do the machine setup and pick the move in x, y, and z it moves. Not sure what is happening? I installed light urn software a few months ago but its not open so I don’t believe that is causing the issue but maybe I’m wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you saying the Z height (+) motion is not working? As in trying top set your router/spindle height and it will not raise when in jog mode?
If you suspect the laser software they usually have a macro to switch between laser mode and CNC mode. The CNC acts different in laser mode. A lot of people use LightBurn and that is usually what is wrong for them is they forgot to toggle the macro back to CNC. May not be your problem but you can eliminate it.
When you run the setup you are setting the limits your machine will run in the Jog mode. You can enter commands in the MDI interface. Those commands can confirm if you CAN move or if it is a function of setup.
Run through setup again and pay particular attention to picking your correct configuration. Then power off and power on and initialize. Then see if jog works. To run setup (configuration) power on, connect but do not initialize. Run the setup.
