It did not take long for me to learn, one can save a considerable amount of time cleaning up, if one had a dust collection boot. The boot I made for the Shapeoko I bought in late 2017, is similar to the dust collection boot I made for my first CNC router, which was not a Shapeoko.
Designed to swing up out of the way, I did not want to be bothered with having to remove anything just to change bits. I am a little on the lazy side, not to mention you can just swing it up out of your way if you want to run without a dust collection boot.
