Shark Tooth Display Case

I cut these display cases out of oak and finished with tung oil. The cover is 3/16 cast acrylic with polished edges. Tiny screws fit in the .125 holes for that purpose. I have sold a few of these… I live near the coast so people collect shark teeth here.

I don’t think my megalodon tooth will fit

That’s a great idea for displaying shark’s teeth. How do you polish the edges of the cast acrylic?

I can’t help myself……

“We’re gonna need a bigger display case!!”

I just use polishing compound on a polishing " Tapered Buff Bob" I found at Harbor Freight. I shines up pretty fast when I put it in my drill press.

LOL… megalodon teeth were outside the scope of this build. That said, my daughter has found several. Amazingly…found some 30 miles off the coast in a townhouse development excavation.
