Shout out to customer support!

Your GREAT!!
I’ve always ran my machine off of my MacBook and have been afraid of wear and tear issues. Well, that day has come because my MacBook needs repair and the screen or whatever is not reliable.
So, I bought an “industrial” fanless mini pc and a cheap screen to have dedicated to my CNC. That required downloading the windows version of Carbide create pro for which the version 7.xx I had was no longer available AND my updates were out of date. I was stuck at an Oh Crap moment.
I contacted customer support and asked them if I can download CCpro on my second computer which they do guarantee two computers (I believe they would have done it anyway). They eventually found my license number and sent that to me and made the statement “if your up to date”? Well that requires more money so that was another Oh crap moment but I tried it anyway and to my surprise it worked.
I now have my beloved CCpro on my second computer and for the first time I am currently running test files on the new computer running my CNC and loving every minute of it.
Thank you customer support and I would like to thank your manager also. Without his guidance you might not be this good so I want that recognized too.

In this day and time, it is unfortunate, customer service is on the decline, where companies are switching to AI to save money. In doing so have lost any regard to HUMAN interaction.
