(Girard Ibanez) #1

Need assistance in writing a program in Carbide Motion to draw:

Line 1 of x length.
Line 2 of y length.

Line 1 and Line 2 will be in the form of an L shape.

Thanks

Draw it by making two rectangles and using a Boolean operation to add or subtract one from the other?

See: https://docs.carbide3d.com/assembly/carbidecreate/video-tutorials/#basic-shapes and https://docs.carbide3d.com/assembly/carbidecreate/video-tutorials/#boolean-operations and https://docs.carbide3d.com/assembly/carbidecreate/video-tutorials/#toolpaths

Basically it’s:

(assuming you want to remove the shape)

or

If you want to cut the shape out as a positive.
