I am attempting to use a very small (1/32) single flute endmill for a plastic part. After looking at just how small a (1/32) is, will it be able to handle the downward pressure when being used with shapeoko’s Bit Setter? Trying to avoid a broken endmill right out of the gate. Thanks!
Yes, the spring-loaded button is quite gentle to even delicate tooling — just make sure it’s working correctly — all bets are off if it’s not and even a #251 can be snapped by an HDZ (carbide is quite brittle).
