Snap to grid issue

Here is something that has come up before the snap to grid issue
I thought I do a screen shot showing the snap to grid thing and in this shot, an if I can get it attached to this posting. I have run into this before on my simple stuff.?

the tri. on the right snaps to Grid just fine the way it looks, the tri. on the left would not do it. and yes snap to grid is turned on.! wierd.

Where did you grab the triangle on the right?

Screengrab showing that highlighting?

Upload your file?

I moved on a bit from the screen shot but you can still see the misalinement still on this drawing by zooming in on it. the other place where I have seen it was on "show simultation… lines not alined per the drawing. on the screen shot I first sent you could see the missalined on the bottom line also. but zoomed in.

Sometimes I group objects so they move together. Depending on where you grab the objects it seems not to snap to grid. But if you grab a corner you will snap to the grid. Also check that you did not group the triangle and circle on the left.

Select the geometry you wish to move:

select everything you wish to move and put the cursor at a node which you want at a grid intersection, click and drag to the grid intersection:

Thanks Guys
It’s the old node trick.!
