I wouldn’t mind trying to run my shapeoko with a different controller. So i can view my programs and pause them with them restarting and such or so I can stop close program and start somewhere back in the program.
@Baronas, I briefly ran my Nomad883 (which uses a 3-axis version of the Shapeoko board) from Mach3. See my post Slight stepping artifacts; any ideas? for a couple of photos. I wasn’t using the limit switches, but they would be certainly possible to pass them through to the parallel port to the PC running Mach3, along with the necessary step and direction inputs from the 3 axes which I did use.
