SO5 PRO HM010 Alarm

I already sent ticket to Carbide, but wondering if there is a quick reset or something I can do to continue the work over this weekend.

Was working fine till yesterday when I tried to initialize machine and it failed on Y2 Homing.
Went to trouble shooting procedure, using MDI, disable bit setter, manual jog. All axis linear motions are ok, no mechanical binding, etc. limit switches are triggered properly ON/OFF, except on the debug mode, the Y2 was not checked even though the limit switch is ON. Could it be that the brain box isn’t getting the signal from Y2? Ok

Bad limit switch or bad wiring are the most likely culprits. About the only thing you can do before Support gets back to you is check all the connectors for that wiring.

Thanks to Tyler at Carbide, I’m back and running again.

It’s the limit switch. Swap it and works again.

So the same Error is back. It’s the Y2 limit switch again not being recognized. The limit switch is triggered (red), but the not being shown in the debug mode. It was working fine for a couple days till today.

Power down and try replacing with the included spare.

If that doesn’t work, or you’ve already used your spare, check in at support@carbide3d.com

I’ve used the spare already. This is the second time it happened. Already submitted ticket.
