Please forgive my terminology. I noticed a sound a few days ago and observed that the right ball screw is able to move when the gantry moves toward zero. I have measured left and right and there is a limit on the left side…no linear movement and a fixed linear position of 1.40 mm from where the screw threads end and the part that holds the ball screw in place (fixing part). On the right side, the screw moves linearly inside the fixing part with no space between the end of the thread and the fixing part. Before I start messing with this I’d like Will Adams or otherwise tell me how to fix the movement of the right ball screw. Thanks.
