So5 red power light machine wont turn on

Piked up a SO5 4x2 today from a family member that had owed me some money, purchased software and was ready to go (thats what i thouht anyway) got it home hooked everything up and i have a red power light on power supply but machine wont power up any help would be appriciated.

Maybe a stupid question, but have you turned on the power pendent?

yes i even unpluged it in case it was bad

tried pushing the reset button as well , not sure if that has anything to do with power but i was trying everything i could think of.

Can you take a picture of the front of the control box?

Got pic just have to figure out how to get it on post

Do you actually have a spindle with it, or the trim router?

Spindle the light is on at the pendant

I removed end cover and checked all connections also

I can run the spindle manually from vfd

It looks like your spindle is in the power pendent plug, and your power pendent is in the spindle plug. Switch them and hopefully it works and didn’t burn anything up.

Not possible two different plugs

Contact support, they should be able to help you troubleshoot. I know users of the ShapeOKO 5 have had lots of issues with that machine.

Is there a light on the power pendant. Is the Emergency stop button on the power pendant engaged. Locked down

The spindle is only 3 wires and should have an adapter for it.

Might want to raise that spindle in the mount some.
Loosen the spindle clamp and run the z to its lowest limit, Put the shortest bit you think you have in the spindle collet. Let the bit touch the spoilboard and tighten the spindle clamp.
