Some convenience improvments to my SO3

Hi All,
After running the SO3 on some projects I decided that it would be more convenient to be able to turn the SO3, DeWalt router and vacuum on from one location. I mounted switches at the front of the stand with duplex outlets at the back. The outlets are split and controlled by the switches. One common supply cord for this setup and a separate set of outlets for the computer and screen. The switch up front is quicker to stop the SO3 when it is going where I did not plan !

Definitely the next thing on my todo list (some combination of this and a big red emergency stop button). Thanks for sharing your setup Brian

How does the feed hold work ?

It pauses the job. But there is no pins for a Resume button, so you have to use the keyboard shortcut. I have not really found a good use for the Feed Hold button yet.

Being new to the SO3, is there keyboard commands for pause and start when running a program ?

Thanks !

Just a note, that big “choke” looking thing on your router cable isn’t. It’s an antitheft tag. You can get rid of it with no ill effects. Recommend you replace it with a real choke.
