Something is not right here?

Engraving script lettering but this one word is not engraving properly.

Truth” is not showing the V-carve correctly?

Could that be an open vector in the middle of the loop in the H, or somewhere in the word? It looks like it’s trying to make the loop in the middle of the H the carve rather than the letters.

Still a complete beginner here, but that’s what stands out to me.

Attach your C2D file. We can’t help you just looking at a picture of the problem.

Since we may not have the same fonts on our computers as you do, make a copy of your C2D file, then select the text and ‘Convert To Curves’. That will let us see exactly what you see, even if we don;t have that particular font.

At a guess, this font is not well formed, and has either open vectorsd or overlapping vectors.

Try converting the script font to paths as noted at:

https://carbide3d.com/blog/merging-script-fonts-in-carbide-create/

then use the Trim Vectors tool to remove the overlapping geometry, then the Join Vectors tool to close things up.

If you’re still having trouble upload your .c2d file after converting to paths and we’ll walk through this with you.

Thank you for your input. The customer went with regular text, not script.
