Has anyone used Spetool W06016 v groove router bit for engraving and chamfers? If so what speed and feed di you use?
Looks like they have a Carbide 3D Tool Database at the bottom of this page.
I downloaded the tool database @Ed.E refereed to but that bit was not in there. Until you find out more information you can just use the #301 90 degree vee bit in your toolpath but use your SpreTool. You could also copy the #301 and then customize it with the dimensions of the bit you actually have. If it is pretty much the same diameter and length of cutting edge just use #301.
I have a 4" OAL 2 flute up cut bit that cuts 1.5" deep. I just tell CC it is #205 bit and it works well. I could customize a database entry but for me it is just simple to pick an existing CC tool and use it. Maybe I am just lazy but using an existing bit is easy.
It’s on line 50 of both the Hardwood and softwood.csv
Ed, You are correct. I dont have any SpeTools and maybe the one I looked at did not have that number.
Wish I had found that DB years ago.
