Speed Shows Wrong in CM 651 from CC 833

This has been reported but I updated to CC 833 and am using CM 651. I created a project using #251 .25" Upcut bit. When I picked the tool in CC the speed says 18000. However when CM started it asked for 24000.

Here is screen capture from CC about #251

I noticed the same thing and was wondering if you have heard anything yet about a fix. I know it is a new issue but just wanted to check.

Thanks,

So far no one has commented. I ran a job on Wednesday and saw the problem is still there. My current versions of CC is 835 and CM is 651. I did not go and check if these are the latest but as of last week they were.

I almost always cut wood and frankly never adjust my router speed. I let it run at 18K and things work fine. Now if you start cutting acrylic or other material you might need to change speeds. For me I just leave my router alone. So the message with the wrong RPM is annoying but not a big deal to me. For newer users it might cause problems.

Just happened upon your post and I am also having the same issue with the speed showing as 24000 and setting of 5. I always run mine at 18000 and setting of 3 with the Carbide router on my Shapeoko Pro 4 XXL. 24000 is def excessive…thought there was a reason for this change, but it seems it is an issue with the latest CM or CC. Maybe someone will see this thread and add it to the list for edits on the next update.
