Speeding up relief lettering

I apologize in advance for asking a question that’s undoubtedly obvious to many … but I’m new and trying to learn. I’m making a small sign with raised lettering and some other graphics, and I’d prefer to use a 1/4" end mill for most of the stock removal to save some time and then get in around the details with a 1/16". Can somebody point me to the recipe for this? CCPro v8. Thanks for any help.

Actually, since you have PRO, you can use REST machining instead. Create one pocket for the 1/4" bit, then create another pocket using the same vectors for the 1/16" bit, and check the ‘REST machining’ box. Enter the previous size (1/4", or 6.35mm), and the 1/16" bit will only machine the parts that the 1/4" couldn’t reach.

Mhotchin explained it well.
Sometimes even the best explanations have me wondering still.
Just adding a pic for extra help

Wow. Can’t wait to try this out. I did learn a lot trying to fudge it though. Thank you!
