Spindle RPM change required

New HDM. I am getting a “Spindle RPM Change Required” message when I run an M3 and M5 command in MDI, and the VFD screen displays 168.8, when I was expecting 10,000.

You should configure Carbide Motion for having a VFD Spindle, not a BitRunner.

For the VFD display, I think that this can be controlled by cycling through the buttons — check in at support@carbide3d.com

Thank you. Yes, my configuration was incorrect. I’m using a new Windows touch tablet and it’s a little finicky. I thought I had selected the VFD but I must not have. I went through the set up flow again, selected VFD and it worked.
