Quick Question for anyone who has done a spindle upgrade, I was thinking of a 65mm spindle, does either the Standard Dewalt mount tighten down to that diameter, or inserting the Makita adapter get you to 65mm ? I can easily get a generic 65 mm mount but that requires modifications because most are wider & higher than the existing, then have to tweak my Suckit system as well.

The stock mount is 69mm in diameter. The adapter reduces it to 65mm in diameter.

Alternately, one can easily fashion an adapter out of a piece of suitable aluminum tubing — 70mm 2mm wall thickness should work well — the equivalent Imperial tubing is a bit shy on wall thickness but will work if one doesn’t worry about how much one has to bend the stock mount.
