I have a shapeoko 3 and would like to cut larger item in the Y axis, so would like to split the svg into two so that I can flip the material and run the next tool path, but seem to have trouble being able to edit the svg to not close. Does this make sense? Been searching online for hours and trying Inkscape.
So I think I found it by searching the world “tile” and an excellent writeup from Will.
I will give this a try
one hacky option is to make a clone… and use the boolean subtraction to subtract a huge square from your design… and make sure the square covers half your design
