Spoil board resurfacing process

What is the best way to set up tool path to resurface my spoil board . I have a Shapeoko Pro XXL

I set up my own because I don’t like the CC pocket pattern. Create a workpiece the same size, or just a bit smaller than the max XY envelope of your machine. Mine is 27" x 21"

Draw in the path you want, join the vectors & use a contour with no offset path. If it’s symmetrical & you want it to run the other way, just mirror it.

I agree with @Tod1d but I make my cutting path .5" larger than my spoilboard (SO3). With the SO4 you will have a small cliff across the back and along the two sides because on those models you cannot get all the way to the edges of the spoilboard. On an SO5 you can get the whole spoilboard.
