Stadia-controlled Shapeoko Pro via Bluetooth

Google recently turned down the Stadia service and refunded everyone for their games and hardware. Users were able to keep their hardware, but the controller was a brick until the Stadia team published updated firmware that enabled it to be used as a standard bluetooth controller.

I was hoping that I could use theStadia controller via the built-in gamepad support in Carbide Create to jog my machine during setup operations. The controller wasn’t recognized by Carbide Create, but I was able to use AntiMicroX to create the relevant key mappings. Now everything works as I had hoped!

Here is the video.

I’ve been waiting with baited breath for the team to release a new FW to enable Bluetooth. Thanks for the link.
